All contents of the Multipoly Next game are available in English. During the course of the game, players see texts, videos, dialogues and questions in English.

[PricewaterhouseCoopers Auditing Ltd.] (registered office: 1055 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 78., VAT number: 10256161-2-44) and PricewaterhouseCoopers Magyarország Kft. [PricewaterhouseCoopers Hungary Ltd.] (registered office: 1055 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 78., VAT number: 23343465-2-44) (hereinafter: PwC), and their agent MarkCon Informatikai Kft., (registered office: 7623 Pécs, Móré F. u. 33.) – hereinafter collectively referred to as organiser(s) of the game – organise the game entitled Multipoly Next, and the description of the game, and also the terms and conditions of participating therein and data management are specified in this documentation (hereinafter: rules of the game).

Under the assignment of PwC the technical operation of the game is carried out by MarkCon Informatikai Kft. The game is accessible via the www.multipoly.hu URL.

Multipoly Next is a two-round game that consists of an online part and a part based on personal participation, during which the player submits a virtual application to the PwC, takes part in the virtual interview process and becomes the virtual trainee (intern) of PwC.

Registration through the game and/or participation in the game provides no benefit, advantage or exemption during the (actual) application to the PwC company, and no legal relationship is formed with the PwC company.

Photos and images included in the game only serve illustrative purposes. The organisational structure, positions, jobs, advancement in career and other organisational and other properties do not depict PwC and its operation realistically.

1. Definitions:

  • player – any natural person (1) who is at least 18 years old, (2) who registers in the game in order to participate therein.
    Shareholders, executive officers, employees, trainees of or other persons in any other form of civil employment relationship or permanent agency relationship with  PricewaterhouseCoopers Könyvvizsgáló Kft., PricewaterhouseCoopers Magyarország Kft., Réti, Antall és Társai Ügyvédi Iroda [Réti, Antall & Partners Law Firm], members of the international network of PricewaterhouseCoopers, MarkCon Informatikai Kft., MarkCon Kommunikációs Kft., and Arany és Szabó Ügyvédi Iroda [Arany & Szabó Law Firm] and also the close relatives of the listed persons pursuant to Section 8:1.§ (1) 1.) of the Civil Code of Hungary may not become players. However, persons excluded from the game are also entitled to try the game (after registration), but the points they gathered will not be considered during the evaluation of the game, the selection for the personal round and the selection of the winners.
  • registration – the process during which the prospective player expresses its intention in the registration process specified by the organiser of the game to participate in the game, thus also accepting the terms and conditions specified in the rules of the game and granting the necessary data protection consent. The National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Hungary has registered the game.
  • profile –the virtual person(s) created by the player during the course of the online section of the game, used for participating therein.
  • finalist – a total of 12 players will become eligible to participate in the final, based on their individual results, selected from the first 30 players of the individual top list, in the following form: the first eight players of the top list automatically, and four other players selected by the experts of PwC based on PwC professional values. Further criteria of entering the final:
    • only persons satisfying the criteria specified for "players" may be eligible to participate in the final, who is:
      • at least 18 but maximum 26 years old
      • has a student status or has finished his/her studies maximum 1 year before
    • the player has successfully completed all five levels
    • during the course of the game, the player has completed at least the following extra point acquisition opportunities: filling in the HireVue video, filling in the competency test, uploading CV through the PwC system + filling in online numeric and logical tests
    • has not participated in the Multipoly finals of the last years (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015)
    • the player shall be a citizen of Hungary
    • has not worked as employee or trainee (intern) for PricewaterhouseCoopers Könyvvizsgáló Kft., PricewaterhouseCoopers Magyarország Kft., or Réti, Antall és Társai Ügyvédi Iroda, and has not been the member or employee of the PricewaterhouseCoopers international network.

2. Conditions of participating in the game; registration, login, providing data, score point types

Registration
Registration is required for participating in the game. There are two possible registration methods. In case the prospective player has a personal account at the www.facebook.com social networking portal, by authorising the application of the game and filling in the registration sheet, it can register itself in the game.

In case the prospective player has no personal account at the www.facebook.com social networking portal, or chooses the other method of registration, it shall register itself by filling in the registration sheet of the game available at the www.multipoly.hu internet address.

During the registration process, the player shall read and understand the rules of the game specified herein. In order to participate in the game, the player shall explicitly accept the rules of the game specified herein and grant the data management consent.

During the registration to the game, the prospective player shall only provide its own, true and valid data. Providing false or untrue data may result in being banned from the game.

During the registration process, the technical operator of the game sends and electronic, automatically generated email message to the email address provided by the prospective player within 24 hours. Pursuant to the contents of the email, the prospective player shall confirm the data provided during the registration process and the registration itself. In case the prospective player successfully confirms the registration, the prospective player becomes a registered player. In case the prospective player fails to confirm the registration within 24 hours, it will be considered the revocation from the intention to participate in the game, and the termination of willing to participate therein.

Login
Logging in to the game is only possible after the successful registration. After registration, the player can log in to the game by clicking on the "Login" menu item. After logging in, each player will see the level selection interface. A total of five levels can be played.

Providing data
After the first (application) level, the "Audit" level opens, where a data sheet shall also be filled in, with providing the following data. All data shall be provided.

  • name,
  • email address,
  • address,
  • school status,
  • name of higher education institution, faculty and programme,
  • name of student organisation (if applicable),
  • language skills,
  • player status,
  • method of acquiring information,
  • sex.

Score point types
After performing or completing the specific tasks successfully during the course of the game, the player may receive points. The total of the points received for these tasks is the number of total points the player has on the specific level.

One level can be played without limitations. The best results from each level will be saved, and the sum of these saved points will provide the number of total points the player has.

Through certain extra activities, the player may also collect extra points. The uploaded and filled materials will be ranked by PwC based on the result, quality and professional reasons and classified in three categories, meaning different numbers of points for the player. The system will credit your Extra points after their evaluation. Points are issued based on the following:

  • Filling in the HireVue video: 50 - 60 – 70 points
  • Filling in the competency test: 40 - 50 - 60 points
  • Uploading CV through the PwC system: 20 - 30 - 40 points
  • Filling in online numerical test through the PwC system: 50 - 60 - 70 points
  • Filling in online logical test through the PwC system: 50 - 60 - 70 points
  • Uploading LinkedIn profile: 10 - 15 - 20 points
  • Points received in the recommendation system: 5 x 4 points (inviting up to 20 persons and credited points for up to 5 persons) + 4 points to the player who registered upon such recommendation =  up to 24 points

The organiser of the game is entitled to ban from the game any player (and to remove all their profiles) who

  • provides or enters false, untrue data during registration,
  • provides valid data during registration but impersonates someone else,
  • behaves in a manner during the game, that is contrary to the objectives and spirit of the game,
  • commits any crime or misdemeanour during participation in the game,
  • revokes the consent granted to managing personal data during the game.

The organiser of the game reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine whether any behaviour is contrary to the objectives and spirit of the game.

3. Gameplay and prizes

The first, online stage of the game, conducted on the www.multipoly.hu page begins on 25th April 2016 at 16:00 and ends on 30th May 2016 at 16:00.

The collection of points however ends on 23rd May 2016 at 16:00.

Date of the final and the finalists

The finalists will be announced on the 1th of June. The second stage of the game, based on personal participation, will take place during the week after closing the online game. The organiser of the game will inform those eligible to participate in the second stage of the game about the details, using the email address provided during registration, and will also publish the list of these players on the www.multipoly.hu page and will provide notification thereof on the www.facebook.com/PwC.Hungary.Careers page.

PwC will invite players to the final based on the top list at the time of closing the online stage.

A total of 12 players will become eligible to participate in the final, based on their individual results, selected from the first 30 players of the individual top list, in the following form: the first eight players of the top list automatically, and four other players selected by the experts of PwC based on PwC professional values. Further criteria of entering the final:

  • only persons satisfying the criteria specified for "players" may be eligible to participate in the final, who is:
    • at least 18 but maximum 26 years old
    • has a student status or has finished his/her studies maximum 1 year before
  • the player has successfully completed all five levels
  • during the course of the game, the player has completed at least the following extra point acquisition opportunities: filling in the HireVue Video, filling in the competency test, uploading CV through the PwC system + filling in online numeric and logical tests
  • has not participated in the Multipoly finals of the last years (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015)
  • has not worked as employee or trainee (intern) for PricewaterhouseCoopers Könyvvizsgáló Kft., PricewaterhouseCoopers Magyarország Kft., or Réti, Antall és Társai Ügyvédi Iroda, and has not been the member or employee of the PricewaterhouseCoopers international network
  • the player shall be a citizen of Hungary.

Experts selected by the PwC will be able to select six finalists based on professional aspects; the basic performance of the players throughout the game and also the information received from the auxiliary materials filled in/uploaded during the game. Auxiliary materials include:

  • filling in of HireVue video
  • filling in the competency test,
  • uploading CV via the PwC system + filling in the online numeric and logical tests,

The second stage of the game, with the personal participation of the players, takes place in the Budapest office of PwC. In this stage the players will solve case studies, take part in situation games, solve group tasks and prepare presentations, during the course of an all-day game. Performances of the players during the personal round will be evaluated by the senior managers, HR professionals and selected experts of PwC, based on their own assessment criteria. Winners of the game will be selected by PwC based on this personal round. The award ceremony will be held on the day of this round, after the end of the personal round.

The players ranked first to third shall receive prizes. The prize of the first ranked player is a MacBook Air 13" 256GB device. The prize of the second ranked player is an iPhone 6s smartphone, while the third ranked player will win an iPad Mini product.

For the first 3 persons with the best results, particiption in the Personal branding or Interview technic trainig is guaranteed.

Student organization game

Any organization can participate in the Student Organization competition. Winner organizations of previous years are also eligible to win prizes, hence it's worth for them to join their forces again.

Only those student organizations are eligible to participate in the competition that can present a document provided with the authorized signature of the official representative certifying the actual existence of the organization. Also, the list of members of the organization shall be indicated in a document provided with the authorized signature of the official representative. The aforementioned documents shall be sent to the email address specified at the time of checking the validity of the winning players.

Top list based on the results of the players

The top list of the student organizations is composed of the results of the specified range of individual players who belong to the organization, as follows.

Players are ranked in the order of their total points within the student organization, and their points are weighed based on their rankings, thus providing the total number of points for the organizations, based on the following classification:

  • 1st-8th ranking - 50% of their points is added to the points of the organization
  • 9-16th ranking - 25% of their points is added to the points of the organization
  • 17-24th ranking - 12% of their points is added to the points of the organization
  • 25-32nd ranking - 6% of their points is added to the points of the organization
  • 32-40th ranking - 3% of their points is added to the points of the organization

PwC offers a cash prize to the winner of this student organization competition. The first ranked organization receives the cash prize of 200 000 HUF. After closing the game, PwC concludes a funding agreement with the winning student organizations, and based on the provisions of the agreement it transfers the cash prize to the student organization. In case the student organization has no legal personality or bank account, it is not eligible to receive the prize.

Invitation system

An Invitation System is also operated in the Multipoly Next game, in which already registered players can invite their friends to the game. The inviting and the invited persons both receive extra points for the invitation. Points are credited every time a new level is opened in the game and then on two occasions. Parties become eligible to receive the points if the invited prospective player registers in the PwC Multipoly Next game.

One player can invite up to 20 persons, but only receives points for the registration of up to 5 persons.

Webshop

In the webshop the players can purchase different gifts and can freely bid. The points players can spend in the webshop will be calculated from their total scores, but scores and toplist places won’t be affected by points spent in the webshop. Every week new gifts become available which the players can purchase imediately or can freely bid for them. By bidding more the players have a bigger chance of winning the given gift when the draw is made. By the day of the draw plyers can freely increase or decrease their bids. The points players use in the bidding process won’t be returned.

4. Notification of winners

The organiser of the game publishes the list of winners on the www.multipoly.hu website and publishes an announcement thereof on the www.facebook.com/PwC.Hungary.Careers page.

Winner may personally receive their prizes from PwC within 30  working days after the closure of the game and announcement of the results. Winners shall certify the receipt of the prize by signing a receipt certificate.

Prizes may only be provided to winners if their data provided during registration and the personal and institutional data certified upon receipt are identical. For the purpose of certifying personal identity, an identity card, in case of on-going studies a certification of the student relationship or a student card provided with a validating sticker, while in case of finished studies a copy of the degree certificate are required.

The date of receiving the gifts redeemed in the webshop must be agreed and informed in advance.

A representative acting based on a power of attorney cannot receive the prize.

If the winner declines to receive the prize, fails to receive it within the above period, if the winner turns out to be ineligible to take part in the game, to have registered with untrue data or fails to comply with the conditions of participating in the game for any other reason, the organiser of the game is not obliged to perform.

The organiser of the game excludes liability for the fault of the prizes, unless excluding such liability is explicitly prohibited by the provisions of the laws of Hungary. The prize cannot be transferred to anyone else and cannot be converted to cash or other prizes.

5. Data management

For the management of personal data provided by the player during the registration in the game and the game itself, provisions of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information shall apply. The National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Hungary has registered the game.

The www.multipoly.hu website is operated by MarkCon Informatikai Kft. The management of personal data provided during the game is carried out by PricewaterhouseCoopers Könyvvizsgáló Kft. and PricewaterhouseCoopers Magyarország Kft. as data controllers. Upon the assignment received from the data controller, MarkCon Informatikai Kft. shall (or may) process personal data. Data controller reserves the right to involve other data processors for the purpose of certain technical actions.

During the registration, the player grants consent

  • to PricewaterhouseCoopers Könyvvizsgáló Kft. and PricewaterhouseCoopers Magyarország Kft. to managing and storing, and to forwarding to data processors its personal data provided through filling in the registration sheet during registration, and also
  • the answers provided to the specific questions in the game.
  • The player also grants consent to the data processor, for the purpose of evaluating its performance during the game, based on the answers provided to the specific questions in the game,
  • to creating statistical reports,
  • to comparing the answers,
  • to calculating ratios and other indicators, and to compiling reports.

During registration, the player also grants consent to publishing his registered name as player and the number of points it accumulated in the "Top List" menu item of the game in a manner accessible by anyone.

The player also gives consent to the organiser of the game to publishing its name on the www.multipoly.hu and www.facebook.com/PwC.Hungary.Careers websites, when the player becomes eligible to take part in the second stage of the game or wins the game.

During registration and viewing the website, the IP address of the player's computer, the starting and closing time of the visit and in certain cases (based on the settings of the player's computer) the browser and operation system type are recorded. These logged data will only be used for statistical purposes, and the organiser of the game shall delete them within 40 days. Such data may only be provided to third parties pursuant to explicit provisions of an affected law.

The management of personal data and answers provided to questions during the game is carried out according to the principle of purpose limitation. The purpose of such data management is the identification of the user, communication and creating a players' database in order to operate the Multipoly Next game.

The duration of data management will not expire until the player explicitly revokes its consent to data management in a written statement, but the duration shall expire nevertheless by no later than 31 December 2017.

The player may delete its registration, which shall be executed by the system of the organiser of the game within 1 working day.

During registration the player also grants consent to the organiser of the game sending notifications and newsletters to the email address provided during registration for the game. The participant is entitled to revoke the consent to sending the newsletter at any time in writing, in its email sent to the email address of the organiser of the game specified in the newsletter.

During registration the player also grants consent to PricewaterhouseCoopers Könyvvizsgáló Kft. and PricewaterhouseCoopers Magyarország Kft. recording the still and video images and also the sound of the receipt of the prizes, and using these records for advertising or other purposes partially or as a whole (including publication in the electronic or printed press), without any remuneration or limitations of the number of occasions and the duration.

6. Providing statements

Statements related to data management (e.g. the revocation of the consent to data management) shall be provided to the data processor in writing, via postal mail or email to the data.protection@pwc.hu email address.

Questions, remarks and statements related to the game shall be sent to the info@multipoly.hu email address or in writing via postal mail to the organisers of the game.

7. Technical conditions, legal statement, miscellany

The Multipoly Next game supports the latest versions of the Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox internet browsers.

In case the player finds any answer presumably erroneously recorded, please submit such remarks via email to the info@multipoly.hu address, in order to support corrections and further improvements. After notification received on such errors, points will be credited to the player.

All texts, graphics, images, videos and sounds available at the www.multipoly.hu URL are subject to copyright protection. Copyrighted works may only be re-used with the prior written consent of the affected organiser of the game.

Due to the free-of-charge nature of the service, the organiser of the game cannot guarantee the non-stop accessibility of the game, and cannot be held liable for the suspension or termination thereof. The organiser of the game pursues to ensure the repair and fixing of certain failures or operational errors arising during the operation of the website, but cannot be held liable for those. The organiser of the game excludes any type of compensation for costs, damages and losses caused by or occurring related to the any errors, deficiencies, malfunctions or delays during the course of the game.
